Nadanta Ananda Natha Saraswati (Arjunan Gurukkal) of Meppad Madom is a Kshatropeta Dvija from Sri Natha Paduka Gotra as well as a Grihasta Kaulika. He was born to Sri Janaki Amma and Sri Karunakaran Nair in the traditional Shakta Warrior Nayar family renowned as Puthiya Veettil/ Puthiyottil near Chirakkal Kavu Bhagavatty Temple, Tellichery. Swami Nadanta practiced Vidyopasana under the guidance of his spiritual Guru, Sri Kmmaran Gurukkal.
Meppad Kammaran Gurukkal, the grandfather of Nadanta was a prominent Tantric born in the Traditional Shakta family, who were granted the privilege by Parasuram. As Grihastha Avadhuta, He resided in Parvathy Nilayam with his consort Parvathy Amma and Nadanta was brought up there. When Gurukkal was relaxing in the courtyard, little Nadanta was beside him. On his enquiry about Nadanta, Parvathy Amma replied that he is the son of their eighth child Karunakaran. According to the instruction of Gurukkal, Nadanta was seated on his lap. While he embraced the little one with a smile, a drop of Betel leaf juice fell upon Nadanta's pate. This was the origin of his first initiation or deeksha.
In 2007, Nadanta attained poorna deeksha from Sri Annapoorna Amba Sameta Amritananda Saraswati of Sahsrakshi Peetham, Devipuram. He renovated Meppad Madom for the propagation of Meppad Tradition, encompossing Yoga Naga Kula. Meppad Sampradaya and Paraprasad Sri Vidya Tradition, which follows Tripurasundari Rahasyam and Kularnava Kriya Padhati of Urdwamnaya was reloaded by Nadanta.
Nadanta mastered the traditional secret of Kaula Pancha Makara Tantra Shastra from Meppad, practicing both Kali Kula and Sri Kula Sampradaya. He is the neoteric Samayachara/ Kaulachara Guru in Dakshinamarga as well as Vamamarga Shakta Tantra.
